This Privacy Policy explains how RallyScore collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://www.rallyscore.net website ("Site"). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all services offered by RallyScore.
The Site can be used in a number of different ways: for information on a motorsport event ("Event"), to enter an Event, or to manage Memberships or Events and their entries and results, or to join and manage a membership ("Membership") of a motorsport club or organisation ("Organising Club").
It is only necessary to create an account (to become a "User") to create or join an Organising Club and therefore manage an Organising Club's Events and Memberships, or to manage one's own Membership of an Organising Club. When creating an account or Organising Club Users must supply Personal Identifiable Information such as name, email and mobile number. This is so the Users and Organising Clubs can be contacted regarding updates to the service and so that invoices can be generated for using the service. It is important that the Users keep the information up-to-date such that contact can be made and the generated invoices are correct. This information is only available to the User, Organising Club and RallyScore and it will not be shared with any third parties.
A User may enter an Event or create a Membership without the need to create an account which likely will involve supplying Personal Identifiable Information for the driver, crew and/or entrant. It is important to have each individual's permission to supply their Personal Identifiable Information before doing so. While RallyScore provides templates for entry forms it is the Organising Club that ultimately decides what information is collected when a User enters an Event or becomes a Member. It is also the Organising Club that uses and maintains this information in order to manage the Event or Membership that the User has entered. In this scenario the Organising Club is the Data Controller and RallyScore is the Data Processor. Only a small subset of this information may be made publicly available via entry lists, otherwise the information is only available to the Organising Club and RallyScore. RallyScore will not share this information with any third parties other than that which is publicly available. Please see the Organising Club's Privacy Policy for further details on how they manage this data.
RallyScore or an Organising Club may calculate the results using RallyScore's results services. The entry information may be obtained from RallyScore's entry management service or from another source. In either case the entry information will be a subset of the information supplied to enter the Event. The Personal Identifiable Information for results will be reduced to only include items such as name, contact details, town and/or country, car registration number, of which only a subset of this will be made publicly available on entry lists and results. Where RallyScore is calculating the results RallyScore will be deemed to be the Data Controller, otherwise the Data Processor. For the case where the Organising Club is the Data Controller for results please see the Organising Club's Privacy Policy for further details. RallyScore will not share this information with any third parties other than that which is publicly available.
Unauthenticated Users (those without a RallyScore account) may browse the Site to read entry lists and results. In this case no Personal Identifiable Information will be collected.
For all types of User Non-personal Identifiable Information may be collected. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information. This information may also include pseudonymous data such as IDs and GUIDs that when used along with RallyScore's data could lead to identification of a User. This information may be sent to Google Analytics and Twitter Universal Tag such that RallyScore can track the usage of the Site and the performance of advertising.
RallyScore uses cookies and/or local storage to enhance User experience. This is to provide functionality such as remembering the filter setting when browsing results. Google and Twitter may use cookies to track Users and to correlate with their other services. Please see their privacy policies and adjust their settings as necessary. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
For the results in which RallyScore is the Data Controller the Data Retention Policy is to keep the results publicly available indefinitely. Note that the Organising Clubs as Data Controllers for entries and/or results manage their own Data Retention Settings with default settings of 3.5 years for entries and indefinitely for results. Please see the Organising Club's Data Retention Policy for further details on this.
